Breeding Bobwhites

I have 5 bobwhite quail, the gals are all old enough to lay. I was just wondering when it was gonna happen..anyone?

Patience my friend, their time is near. Late March or early April, mine are kickin it into gear since a few weeks ago. Two weeks after I quit trying with the X-mas lights.

They start any time from the first of March to mid April. Sadly I can't get them to start sooner with my Christmas lights.

BOBS NEED LIGHT AND TEMPERATURE SO IF YOU'RE IN A NORTHERN OR EXCEPTIONALLY FRIDGID CLIMATE IT MAY BE A WHILE YET

Forgot that, yankees warm up a tad bit slower. Hey, they don't catch on as fast either. Must have spread it to the birds. Just tell them spring is here.

HaHa..its been fairly nice here, between 50's an 70's. An they have plenty of day light..
Like you say I just need a little more patience
