You have ports?!!!! Me too! congrats.

When you say house a pair, does this mean they will live in it 24-7? If so, a 3 ft cube is minimum.

Looking for dimensions on Breeding
Nice! we have probably met then. where about are you located?
Washington Court House OH
I just go down there to visit

This is more along line of what I was looking for dimensions on.
Floy’s
Has 4 box breeder boxes that are
14 wide
14 long
14 1/4 high

bred Birmingham Rollers for 15 years and none of the pens I bred out of were 3 cubic feet
They were flown but not when hawks were migrating.
Then they spent confined to 4 wide
2.5 deep 4 tall and that was for 15 rollers
Kit box did have wire flooring to help with ventilation and let manure fall through
Most either free loft or use breeding boxes but usually not both

In my opinion, you can't lock up a bird in anything smaller than three ft cubes. Opinions vary, but much smaller I have to ask myself, "why do I lock them up? They don't like this."

If you use an free loft breeding system (allowing them to leave nest box and get food water on floor, along with other pairs), the boxes only need to be one ft deep, two ft long and one ft high. Does this make sense?
