Make your own thread with this question, it will get answered sooner.I'm planning to breed a spangled throw back pair that I raised this year so I'm wondering will it set them spangled because like I said they are throw backs and spangled and they dont ever come spangled. They guy I got them from said a spangled Albany was used years ago to freshing the lacey blood line and all these years later i end up getting a spangled stag and a spangled pullet. You could certainly try it and see. If they don't look the way you want, they would still make tasty fried chicken or chicken soup.I have a pair of half roundhead half leiper that are throwbacks from the spangled roundheads that the roundhead side was originally created from. So the roundhead cock and the leiper hen were both and still are excellent birds so my question is should I breed the throw backs together and set them as family and do you think the offspring will be spangled like them?
