Photos never do a bird justice. But for that price silkieluver_07 should get them. The ear lobe in the male looked a bit yellow, but that could just be the photo or feed and enviroment. If I was close enough and had the money, I would run, not walk, before someone esle snatched them up.

silkieluver_07, keep us informed as to if you get them and how things go. Post some better photos when you get them home.

Thanks Dan!

If nothing else, they could add a good male from Dan and hatch a lot and cull heavy. We all start somewhere and go from there.

Joking is one of my character flaws...or blessings! This morning my youngest was jumping around in her room and scrapped her heel. She came in here and layed on our bed, wanting comfort and care from Mom. I looked at her scrap and told her, "I have a pocket knife!" She was not in the mood for joking. Last week Jacob got hurt playing and she told him, "Daddy ahs a pocket knife!" Jacob did appreciate the joke. Life should be fun!!!!

Thanks everyone, I'm leaving here in aobut half an hour to go look at them. Yes, his name is Will Marrow. I plan on finding out bloodlines, etc today. He said he picked the best 11 out of 100 birds he hatched this past summer. So they are the best that he has. No white in the wings or peppering in the tails he chose against them. I know buff is a very challenging color to breed, but thought the color looked pretty even and nice throughout. Wish me luck!

It was a package deal and I had to buy the whole flock. They looked to have decent color. He got his stock from Tom Roebuck who got stock from you Dan. Here's some pictures. These were taken as soon as I got them home, still kinda nervous about their new surroundings. Their lobes are yellower because he has been feeding them corn since all the snow he said as well.

Thanks for posting all the pictures.I see several I really like. You should have a good start. You might want to breed from all of them, and keep the best ones to use again next year.Raise lots of chicks and cull the youngsters down some by fall. Best of luck to you.

Wow, I like them too, good find! Will has some excellent ameraucanas so I would assume he knows how to pick good birds. I guess I missed the last line in Jim's post clearly indicating sarchasm! Anyway, welcome to buff leghorns!
