We have a variety of breeds and separate our hens and roos so that we can selectively breed certain pairs in our breeding runs. We are trying to breed different combinations for the satisfaction of having a pretty chicken to look at and were wondering what would come out of breeding any of these combinations:

~Red Cochin Roo over Splash Cochin Hen
~White Cochin Roo over Russian Orloff Hen
~Russian Orloff Roo over Black Cochin Hen

What color are your Orloffs?

This is what you'd get if it's just red x splash. There could be some hidden genes, but this is a general answer for your first matching.

Red x splash will make blue chicks with varying amounts of red leakage (some won't have any leakage at all)
White x spangled depends on whether your cochin is recessive white or dominant white
Spangled x black will make either all black chicks or black with red leakage (the white spots, mottling, are recessive, so won't show up in first generation crosses)

The White Cochin Rooster is most likely dominant white.

The lighter Orloff is the Roo's coloring and the darker Orloff one is the Hen's coloring. Do these pictures help a little for anclearer idea what we are trying to breed? (Picture examples from google)

Alright. What about breeding a Bielefelder Rooster with a Red Cochin or Buff Brahma? Like I mentioned, we have a variety of different breeds. Lol
Bielefelder roosters are crele (barred duckwing). They have two copies of the barring gene.
Crele x buff (in brahmas, it's actually buff columbian) will give you hens that have a buff columbian look with some duckwing patterning and/or darker red leakage in some areas or a duckwing look with a lighter, more buff appearance. Roosters will look buff columbian except a bit darker and have black leakage on the chest. Or they may even look duckwing with some buff leakage. All chicks will be barred.
Crele x red will give you basically the same thing except more red in place of buff. All barred.
