Day 18 of incubation and my candler broke. Oh well...all 22 eggs are in lockdown anyway. Now I get to lose time standing over the incubator while I watch eggs wiggle around. C'mon babies! I'm ready for you!

I'm pretty much sure I'm going to set eggs before leaving town - my Brinsea is REALLY stable, and I have a chicken sitter coming a few times a day. I'm timing things so that I return just in time for the Day 10 candling. I think I'll save myself a lot of anxiety. (Either that or I'll make myself crazy!!!!)
Post photos!!! I can't wait to see what you get! If I didn't already have my hands full I'd beg you for some orange barred babies like Zazzle... Or maybe Pepper (wish I could make the road trip... and had the space...)
I LOVE YOUR BIRDS!!!! (ahem...)![]()

Thanks..that is what I thought.. I think she gave me the wrong bag LOLI use both. Fishmeal for the birds that need more protein, kelp for the trace minerals and vitamins. Kelp especially starting a couple weeks before collecting for incubation.
