Well you can pair her to him in confinement and hope for some fertilized eggs, hope given time she changes her mind... or try AI. But yes hens can be picky and depending on breed such as some gamefowl breeds even hostile to males they dislike. The girls have ideas of their own on what makes a male sexy, you could give the boy a bit of a make over, try to bring out the red in his comb, shine up his feathers and legs, maybe hide treats for him to find to court his new lady with. Sounds silly I know but birds have great eye sight, and courtship behaviors, so it can't hurt to try.

I think she doesn't like younger men LOL she was hatched April 2016 and he is a Halloween boy... he is 1/2 CX and has a lot to learn too.... doesn't have the smooth moves of his daddy... she is a BR

So not to double post photos and info, I posted pictures of my Columbian Wyandotte on the Heritage Perfection: standard bred large fowl thread in the exhibition section.
Over the past three years, I have been adding the influence of White Wyandotte blood with my Columbian to beef up size, improve combs and set the yellow legs better.
I have been hatching, growing out and severely culling thru the F1 stages in both a male and female line....White over CW hens and then CW over White hens. Out of 100 hatched, I kept 10. Then For F2 bred the W/CW hens to a CW cock and the best cockerel was used on his mother. Did the same with the CW / White hens...breeding the F1 hens to the same CW cock and the best cockerel to dark CW hens to balance his down color.
The Standard of Perfection and these two photos have been my inspiration....

Yep they do. Should hit butcher weight at about 10 weeks. That one is either just under or just over a pound.
