Granny's gone and done it again

Ooh, finally! Headed home. They gave me crutches but... they did me no good whatsoever. I could not go forward on them at all. Told them I didn't need them but somehow got to the front door and discovered DH had them in his hand. No, no! We have a pair at home already we don't use! Went back to the front desk, asked her what to do about them. Well she said, you've already been charged for them. Yes but we don't need them. Well maybe you could give them away, says she. Or maybe you could keep them and donate them somewhere? says I. Oh, YES! she says and jumps up like she just learned she won the lottery. So that's taken care of. On our say home, at long, long last.

I have a question. I know with my DH income we make too much for Medicaid. If he were to pass then on what I make I would qualify.. would they still want to look back 5 years at our income?
No. They are doing the 5 years because I applied for long term care for DH. Like assisted living does when someone applies to move in. They do the 5 year look back period too.

you know Scooby's pal/owner

Forgot to update… apparently transportation isn’t running today. 🙄😭

I called them at like 10:23 (pick up time is supposed to be 10) and asked if they were running today and they were like we are not. I was like oh okay thank you but in my head I was like that would have been nice to know beforehand!!!!!! Before I waited for forever in the cold!!!!!!! I went out early too so I was out there since like 9:35 ish. 😬🙃😭

But normally they’re great and we did just have a huge storm so I get it but still… they should have told people!

I didn't know what shaggy meant either. lol
Morning all, boys are off and running!
Heart Drs tomorrow if the van works.
I wasn’t asking you. But. You don’t like any of it. Do you like cheese? Goat cheese?
Funny, Robert and I was just talking about goat cheese last night. Neither of us have tasted it before.
I don't know who asked then but Im sorry.
No, I really don't like them but I will eat them because I need to.

Little confused, nothing new. Did you see Ortho today and if so what's the plan besides unnecessary crutches?

wow up to 8* F

Spent over 3 hours trying to get the last of the end of the year and quarterlies done. This must now ALL BE DONE on line :he if they would just mail out paper forms I would have been done in about 30 to 45 minutes. Then there was no place on line to print an actual bill and mail a check out. Since I REFUSE to give my bank account info over the internet I had to pay with a cc and for that "privilege" there was a 2.5% convenience fee. SMH. I did call their help line and left a message. They called back 4 hours latter. OH you can still pay by check BUT now you have to do it this way. I informed them it would be nice IF they posted how to do that. This was a "new change" for the quarter. :barnie:mad:
