BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

I do believe that taking life should generally not be celebrated, but it is necessary sometimes, including in the case of killing coons, because of the health risks to them being nearby. But, fighting two animals for entertainment is not necessary and provides no benefit besides entertainment and gambling.

Lol...that's the romantic way of reasoning on it. But not most hunters mentality. For majority of them it's all about the chase, the fight and the final kill. Same reasoning the dog has no doubt.

I do agree with post #4642. But that has nothing to do with the harassment, and fighting and the killing of two different species

You sure he has any rottie in him at all? He just looks like pit or some kind of "american bully" mix to me... but what do I know. Anyway he does look like he would be good for weight pulling contests. Better yet put him to work and have him do something useful. You could have him pull or carry things around the yard, like logs. Actually, that is why rottweilers had their tails docked originally- they were carting dogs, the docked tail was to prevent injuries from the tail getting caught in the cart. There's a reason the dog is sometimes called the poor man's horse. Modern day: And found this one too, thought it was funny.
The last dog looks like a kangal or Anatolian Shepard to me

You are very welcome. I must admit I'm not a serious breeder. Some years back I dabbled in it for quite some time. I'm more of a poultry raiser. But I've spent decades actually my whole life hanging out with real breeders and being around chickens. It's a passion.

So I have been trying to get some good pics of the flock. I have read posts about how hard it was to capture that good picture, but kinda shrugged it off, and thought "can't be that hard."

Well, it is that hard, and I think I need a new camera with faster capture speeds.

I have simply accepted the idea the chickens have absolutely no interest in posing for the camera. If I go out without the camera, they will certainly pose for me to admire, though. It isn't only chickens for me, either: dog, cat, wildlife ... sometimes I suspect even the foliage refuses to hold still for a nice photo. Any time someone asks if there is something I can't do, I reply: "Photography!"
