X2! We're in the 60s today and in sweaters

I wore a coat today, 17 right now, going to be -1 and -20 windchill tonight. Get to see how the naked necks enjoy it. So far no frostbite and the first out of the coops and into the snow :-D

Not quite sure but I will say this I got a bunch some yrs ago and was a little disappointed once I got the big birds feathers off they were not nowhere as heavy as I would have thought.
If I was to ever get them again I'd probably go with the jumbo pekins, they're supposed to be bigger and grow faster.

Bahahah, I'm from the Caribbean, anything under 75, and I'm donning long-sleeves.

However, building the hog pen today, I went back inside and changed into a tank top and doused myself in deed woods spray, it got HOT!

You got that right! It was 74 this afternoon and I kept a sweatshirt on. I don't think I can ever live anywhere North of Phoenix again. If I want to see snow I'll turn on the Weather Channel.

I was chuckling about the dogs this afternoon when I left to go buy some hay...it was 13* with a windchill factor of 6* and they were stretched out on the ground in the sun like it was 70, soaking up the rays while the chickens were out foraging in the leaves around them. Later where we picked up hay it was around 18* and a few inside livin' pitbulls came out to join their owner at the hay barn.... they were shivering all the while and couldn't wait to get back in the house.
