Breeding Hens and roosters

Need to know, after a rooster breeds with a hen how long will the sperm remain in the hen? I want to separate my breeds and be able to incubate true breed eggs. Example: Partridge cochin hen to partrige cochin rooster. I am going to have a lot of Hines 57 varities in the incubator right now and need to chang things in order to sell chickens.

The sperm can remain in the hen as long as a month.

Thanks for such a quick reply. Guess I better get them separated this weekend so I can collect eggs next month to incubate for our county fair. Kids have to have animals by June 1st.
