Hello, I have a gold laced wyandotte hen that has a hole in her skin on her back/side due to her being the roosters favorite. Should I give antibiotic orally or is it better to use some sort of cream? It is a fairly good sized tear and I can actually lift the skin away and see inside. Yuck! I have her separated right now to at least keep the poor thing from getting bred again. Advise please! Thanks.
