Hey guys. Last week I lost my last lavender orpington hen so my roo was all alone. My grandma's flock was rooless so we moved him into her flock. Her flock consist of barred rock, some white chicken, rhode island reds, some black hens with goldish heads, a plain black hen, and some light brown ish red chickens. Sorry i do not know all the breeds they were from tractor supply is all i know. Anyways. What colors will be produced when these hens are bread to my lavender orp. My incubator will be ready to load in two weeks and he has been in with them for a week now. Will they be fertilized by then to hatch? Thanks!

Well, lavender is based on black, so he's going to breed like black with all the chickens that aren't lavender. So what you're going to be expecting is a lot of black chicks. Bred to the barred hens, all the male offspring will be black barred and all females solid black. To red, all the chicks will be black with maybe some color leakage. To white, if it's dominant white all the chicks will be white. If it's recessive white they'll probably be black. Bred to light brown, which I think is maybe partridge from what you're describing, the chicks again would be black. And bred to black is of course going to be black.

The chicks will all be split to lavender though.

Yep, exactly what @Pyxis said. I have a lavender amerauca and hatched some mixed breed chicks last spring.

With the splash orpington i got a lavender pullet.

With the silver laced cochin i got solid black.

With the brown leghorn i got solid black.

Now the one that really confused me is the chick from the red production that i think is a golden comet. (She is mostly red with some white underneath and faint lacing that is a shade or two off from her regular color). Her chick turned out white with random black spots.
