I know it was tongue in cheek but it may also not be best to breed in the same space. They don't want the drakes breeding the chicken hens.

I wasn't thinking about breeding them in the same pens or anything, I wanted ideas for duck breeding pens, chicken breeding pens etc etc

The only concern I can think of is that ducks have a penis and chickens don't.
