I get that. That makes sense. Like you don't want the puppy who sits in the corner and lets the other puppies chew on his ear as your watch dog, for instance. lolI have actually chosen chicks in the feed store that were bold enough to peck. I think it means they are healthy.
Pics coming soon.
It's a good sign she wanted out. =)She wanted out so I put her in a little green house with food and water- and today is sunny.
x2Well that's good. No one was hurt to bad
Poor Sally and mother of george, We got her about a month ago and I thought she fit into the coop beautifully. She was brave enough to roost right away, she would peck other chickens if she got mad. She was more the bully, well some one must have had enough. I saw blood in the coop, knew nobody was attacked but didn't have time to find who was bleeding right off. I had birds to feed and water. I thought the roosters had a go with each other, so I checked out the other roo- he was not bloody, then I saw Sally....
this is george...
she was bleeding on her comb- I brought her in the house, put FLOUR on her comb to stop the blood. and warmed her up it was 10 degrees out. I gave her a bite of pumpkin pie- she didn't want much put her in a box to take a nap. I am going back to the coop to see if anyone else is just as bad.
