I'm usually good with people from Kentucky, we kick your butts in football every year and ya'll make some darn fine bourbon.

I think the "AmeriQuaila", the cross between a Male Coturnix and Female Auracana is the 9.5 imho.

I must have some gentle roos then.. Not saying it doesn't happen most of the time.. just not here.

I only have gentle roos the mean ones are the stuff that Bar-B-Q's are made of

its kind of pointless

most Bobwhite/coturnix crosses fly pretty hard and grow faster than bobs... Faster turn around time on the birds from chick to sale

It is extremely tricky to breed the birds "backwards" as in the bobwhite rooster.. as everyone knows a coturnix roo will try to mate with anything..

I'll post pics when I get home from work in about 4 hours of my bobwhite roo in with the coturnix hens and the outcome of chicks..
Note: this is what I done, may not work in other situations! My egg fertility for this pen has been 40% or less..

Yea JJMR, I noticed the Football thing...

Here is the pics That I promised.. busy night at the auction last night kind of slowed me down in getting pics.. The chicks are wet from me chasing them around in the brooder trying to catch them

And YES, I have eaten a bunch of mean Roosters.. The trouble makers takes the same amount of space as a gentle one and they all taste the same.
