I recently purchased a bantam cochin cockeral, and was wondering if he would breed my smaller old english game bantam pullets. Here he is compared to them.

Any information would be helpful, and also if any of you can tell me how he looks compared to the SOP, that would be great.

I think it's a bad match. He's just too big. A bigger father would make bigger babies, and those little modern games lay tiny eggs. I suppose anything is possible but personally I feel that you need a male closer to their size. Mating could also really squash those little hens or maybe injure them......

I have a OEGB boy for them I geuss I will get him some hens or something.

Any male chicken will mate any female he can catch. They don't care about size or breed.

You'll need a better, closer pic to critique him against the SOP.
