Breeding Silkies

I am planning to start breeding pet quality Silkies. This will be my first time breeding chickens (I've done muscovys) Any advice? Again, breeding pet quality. I have a few questions as well
1. Can a Silkie hatch her own eggs?
2. Can two Silkies share a brood cage?
3. What color rooster is best for multicolored hens?(say I have 2 buff, 2 black, and 1 splash hens. What color rooster is best for having solid color chicks?)
Also, any advice from experienced Silkie breeders is quite welcome!

A silkie can hatch its own eggs, they are very broody and make good mothers.
