Breeding to the Standard

Even my other OEGBs are less than thrilled about handling no matter how long I hold them. He's something different.

Nope, trying the cream thing again. Apparently I have to apply it daily for over a week. :th
On a flock this size? That's over 200 applications. I think I'm gonna do the breeder stock and cull the layers in spring rather than treat them. I was going to soon anyway.

Oops, I guess it's a 'some of them OEGBs' thing.

Dang. :th Is it just straight vaseline that you're using? I just saw not that long ago something about mixing sulfur powder into vaseline and applying that for SLM. I know sulfur has been studied on other mites and lice as an effective 'natural' treatment, maybe it works a bit better than just the vaseline on its own?

Some sort of Vaseline equivalent. I thought I had neem oil, but I can't find it.

Buff Chantecler bantams. The male has done well at shows in the past with his last owner.

Ooooh, man, that little guy is a stud and he knows it! Look at that face!! :love :love I inadvertently went to an ABA qualifying meet for Buff Chantecler bantams last fall. There was an entire row in this huge barn of just Buff Chantecler bantams. Pictures really can't do them justice! :drool
They just got accepted to the ABA, actually. :D All the hatchery Buff birds really can't hold a candle to these.
