What is a “smooth sizzle hen?”What would I get if I bred a tolburnt polish roo to a smooth sizzle hen? Anyone know? Or is this even a good idea?
It’s a frizzle roo to a silkie hen but instead of the curly frizzle feathers they don’t curl out. Looks more like a silkie with actual feathering instead of fluffWhat is a “smooth sizzle hen?”
It’s a fine idea. Up to you.

So just a normally feathered hen? It’s a frizzle roo to a silkie hen but instead of the curly frizzle feathers they don’t curl out. Looks more like a silkie with actual feathering instead of fluff
Here is a sizzle vs smooth sizzle. I just wasn’t sure if it was ok to breed two frizzle mix breedsSo just a normally feathered hen?
Yes..It’s okay to cross a frizzle x smooth, but not a frizzle x frizzle
A “sizzle” is a frizzled silkie. So a “smooth sizzle” is just another way of saying a “smooth frizzled silkie” which would just be a silkie. One of the hens pictured is a frizzled satin, while the other is a “normal” satin. Here is a sizzle vs smooth sizzle. I just wasn’t sure if it was ok to breed two frizzle mix breeds
