If I was to breed these two, what would be the outcome? Like I'm not sure how you would figure out what colors it would be!!

It's all about genetics, dominant and recessive genes, genotype versus phenotype and the punnet square. What your seeing may be the result of a dominant gene suppressing the same but recessive gene.

Like this. Blue eye parents under normal circumstances should only be able to produce blue eyed children. Brown eyed patent could have a family of blue and brown eyed children.

You'd have to know if the white bird is recessive or dominant. Or you could breed them and find out if it's recessive. If mostly black chics then it was recessive if white then dominant.

oh ok!! So if I would breed those two birds they would all be gold laced polish?

Oh no, that's not the case. It would take a few generations to get back to gold laced. All I was saying is I couldn't guess what the outcome would be unless you knew if the white bird is dominant or recessive white. If the chicks are mostly black then it was recessive white and a much better chance of gold laced offspring if bred back to gold laced parent. If mostly white chicks from this cross then it was dominant white and would take hatching a lot more chicks if crossing back to parent to get gold laced offspring the second generation.
