So I want to have baby chicks .in order to do that I must breed my rooster with my my girls. I just don't think he's going to be able to breed.I want to find out if he's ever going to breed.
He's smaller than the girls
Older than the girls
His tail feathers are missing
He's a diffrent breed
He's ready

Is any of this not making him able to mate with one of the girls?

Apart from being smaller than the hens I don't see any reason why he can't do his breeding duty. Take some of their eggs, crack them on a plate and look for the little "bullseye" on the yolk to see if they are fertile:
