So at my ag center, we ordered eggs from My Pet Chicken, not any specific breeds. So here are the chicks I got. I have some ideas but I'd like more opinions please
This is Nyeusi (meaning black in Swahili) I'm thinking she's an Astralorp. I believe I'm showing her in my 4H county fair this year.
This is Lisma (meaning fawn in Swedish) I think she's a Welsummer?
This is Nyra (like the white owl from Owls of Gahoole) I think she/he's a leghorn but I'm not sure.
This is Aleu (like the wolf from Balto). I'm thinking (hoping) Speckled Sussex?
Lastly, this is Adalu (meaning mixed in Yoruba). I don't know if I still want to keep her name like that because it sounds a lot like Aleu. I think she's an Easter Egger (one blue egg hatched in the incubator) but I want to know what she's mixed with, she has cheek puffs, but similar markings like Aleu.
