I have 1 trio of silvers, 1 pair of reeves, and 1 trio of lady amherst...

I only have two cages.

Here is what I do not want. I don't want these pheasants to cross breed eachother or to fight...

which two breeds will not breed eachother or fight?

thoughts please.

I'm sorry, but I think you need another cage with those breeds. Lady A's are more passive and less likely to fight, but others will take advantage of that and peck them to death. Silvers can swing either way, I have two pair together babysitting a mean Swinhoe male. They will chase him for fun when the urge strikes, but mostly tolerate him. But this is an acceptation, not the rule with Silvers. Silvers can be aggressive to other birds, and are horrible at picking on other pheasants. Reeves can be even more aggressive and territorial.
If you have no other option I would put Reeves & Silvers together - hoping you have a very big flight pen- and watch them good. At least there nature would give them half a chance, were the Lady A would be down for the count.

alright, I may just sell the silvers or make another cage. They are all small and I have the reeves with the silvers, but apparently that won't work for much longer..
thanks for the responces.
Dan
