You may get different colors from your EE than expecting. And many variations can be had in the same breeds. If you want some chocolate colored eggs you could replace your hen with som Marans maybe. If you want some lighter (white) colored eggs you could even go with a Golden Campine but they are not the best layers. You can even go with some Sex Links to get medium brown if that is what you want. Lots of options just take you pic. You can check the breed index from this site to give you the usual color of eggs laid by speciifc breeds. Wish you the best.

Hubby thinks we should wait til our girls start laying (hopefully any day now) and see what colors we actually get - it may not be what we were told to expect! But if we get all the colors we were told we will, I think I will get a copper black maran and another pink EE if I can find one. I got all my birds previously from a local breeder who has a good reputation, so I will start with talking to her. Thanks for all the suggestions - and all those egg pics look amazing!
