It’s the reason I don’t hatch myself - getting Roos. It’s hard to get rid of the suckers and there is no processing plant close by. As it is I have an Oooops rooster here from Peavy Mart -
Should have been a pullet but Shirley is definitely a Roo! His sister Laverne is a pullet thankfully!

Haha yes, definitely a rooster there! I have been lucky being able to get rid of roosters thankfully, I have a friend who will take any that I can't get rid of. Luckily I've been able to pass some of them on to people who want to keep a few roosters around to protect against predators, so I don't have to unload too many on my friend!

I suspect one of my favourites from my last hatch is a rooster though, so that's too bad!

Fordwich is way west of me. Likley 3hrs. That’s out near were I have taken Roos to be processed - all chicken country out that way.
