Bresse Chickens

For those who have processed some of there Breese how are you finishing them what kind of grains are you using? Scratch or your own mix also are you finishing with milk if so goats or cow milk?
 
We have Bresse, Hatching eggs now, Chicks soon (in the incubator).

Also, Buckeyes, Dominiques., and, a few Silkies and Bantam Choc Orpington.

Okay, I have goats so milk not a problem. when do I give them the goat milk? What kind of feed should I feed them? Should I ferment? Need to know how to market these things any ideas?

Soaking is fine--two to four week before slaughter.

Cockerels are processed at 16 weeks and pullets at 20 weeks.(traditionally--you can go longer if you want to but they get tougher with age)
