I read that "All bresse chickens in the U.S. are called American bresse due to import restrictions." Unless you live in France, I think you need to look for American Bresse.

I don't have personal experience with the Bresse chicken, but about a year ago I came across this YouTube video:

He has gone all in with the Bresse chicken as his preferred chicken. Check out his video for his personal experience with the breed.
