Brewers yeast tablets for ducks

This will work as well and is found with the vitamins.

Or this, which is not with the vitamins, but in the grocery section, I feel like I found it near the vinegar and stuff in my store but had to have someone help me because it definitely was not in the aisle I'd expected.

and it takes care of the niacin?

Yes either product will take care of the added niacin that growing ducklings need.
You will have to check the label of whichever you purchase to try and get close to that 55mg a day.

I believe with the liquid BComplex I had purchased it was about 2 dropperfulls per duckling per day.

With the brewer's yeast flakes I believe it's about a tablespoon per cup of food a day. I may be off on that.

@casportpony ?

Just give them 229 tablets each a day

Those pills are only .24 mg per 2 tablets

so actualy 458 tablets
Yes! Excellent!! Unfortunately @ldrchickens you purchased the same junk I did. I bought it because I read on here that Brewers yeast is good for them. But when I put pen to paper and did the math I realized not all Brewers yeast is created equal. So I threw mine in the trash. I bought the nutritional yeast posted above at Walmart in the baking aisle. They need 1 tablespoon of nutritional yeast per cup of food correct @onaharley @Miss Lydia? I give Pekins 1mL of liquid b complex per bird per day just because they are huge and prone to leg issues. But I don’t find it necessary for other breeds as often when they are ducklings. Niacin isn’t as crucial once they are full grown.

Thank you! I will look again today after work to see if they got more in and will be getting the b complex for my pekin. I don't think I have been giving enough because it seems my pekin is developing leg issues. I noticed today its looking more bow legged and tripping over its feet more then the others. Plus My friend gave me his rouen that is developing curled leg. I have 4 total so should I do 4 table spoons or what is the measurement for them total. Plus I was told to give 1 ml to correct the leg issues. Is this right for both breed? or should I give more. I just don't want to over dose them!
