Was reading about amino acid nutrition and saw that arginine can cause lysine antagonism if the lysine level is more than 1:1.2. Exceeding this ratio can reduce duckling growth. Most foods do not even come close....except brewers yeast which is 1.8:2.4 % of the protein. Makes me think that it shouldn't be suggested that brewers yeast be sprinkled on top of the food (they will probably eat a dis-proportional amount of brewers yeast that may affect the AA balance), but rather suggest mixing it with the food to avoid any possibility of detrimental effects.

This is interesting. I've previously read that you can't overdo on brewer's yeast. I wonder if anyone has any experience with this being an issue.

Reduced growth was what was reported.
