I have a 7 month old white wyandotte bantam that has bright yellow urates in her poo. This just started today. The rest of the poo is normal colored, but the urates are very yellow instead of white. Sometimes it's a bit runny, but usually normal. It's not foamy at all, looks like perfectly normal urates, just colored yellow. She seems maybe just a little thinner and is drinking a lot. She seemed a bit lethargic yesterday but is acting perfectly normal today. She is laying, laid a perfect egg today, and eats Flockraiser with free choice oyster shell. After she laid her egg today, she stayed in the nest box for a long time. I thought maybe she was trying to go broody, but I finally got her out to make sure she's ok and she seems fine, running around everywhere, eating and drinking. So what do yellow urates mean? Will it be ok to just watch her for a while since she seems to be feeling ok, or should I be taking some kind of action?

edited to add: I've checked the site with the poo pictures but nothing fits. I tried to take a picture of it, but it came out too blurry.

Thanks for that link, lots of information about anything chickens! Well, today she is still acting fine and her urates are normal again. No more yellow. What in the world could have caused those bright yellow urates for one day and then spontaneously go back to normal? I'm worming them for the first time tomorrow, could worms have caused the yellow urates?
