Brilliant "Chicken Moat" -- a chicken run and garden fence in one!

Saw this article today on Mother Earth and am astounded by the brilliance. Not really for the lazy gardener or tiny flock owner, but it is just fantastic. The writer calls it the "Chicken Moat"

The idea has been around for a number of years but I've heard (no personal experience) that it does not actually work all that well on account of nearly all insect pests fly real well, so they will still get into the garden and multiply there (although perhaps not *as* much as if no chickens)

If anyone tries it, I'd like to hear more about it, though!
