bring humidity up - Also MY Hatching Post - ****ROCKIN & ROLLIN :) ***

I can set my watch by my ducks hatching. If I put them in the bator in the morning, they pip on day 26 around 6pmish and are out my the following night to early hours.

hopefully something more will happen soon..... With my 1st hatch, about 1/2 were shrink wrapped, so I'm afraid that will happen again and I won't realize it to help them in time.

Hi

As they've not yet externally pipped I wouldnt be worrying to much about lockdown and around 70-75% should be fine. Maybe your temperature is a little low as I err on the low side at 37.2C / 99F.

Your eggs may not have externally pipped but may have internally pipped and the ducklings breathing. You would hear a faint clicking noise if you help the air cell end of the egg to your ear. As they approach external pipping their lungs are more mature and they begin peeping.

This link may help you
