Oh it sounds beautiful! I'm glad you keep it mowed! That is a good way to show respect for the ones that have gone. It is sad that the family does not feel the way you do! I always wondered about the familys buried there and why some died so young. One family had 4 babies there. Another had 5 children there. So sad. I had a strange feeling come over me every time I was there and wandering!

I had a bad bicycle accident when I was a teenager ( the early 80's). My foot got caught in the spokes of my ten speed, and went around with the wheel. I was around 14 at the time. They did X rays and found no broken bones, so they thought she's ok. Nope, I wasn't ok. For 2 long years, I spent in and out of casts. Everytime they would take my cast off, my ankle would just fold over. I couldn't walk.
We had one of those HMO's were you had to get approval to see a doctor out of network. For two years they told my step dad, it's in her head she's fine. My step father would say...What the hell are you talking about? Her ankle is folding over eveytime you take the cast off. She's in pain, and that's not normal etc.
Finally, three days before my 16th birthday they gave approval for me to go see this specialist who was the orthopedic surgeon for the Boston Bruins. Best in the country. I go see him the day before my birthday. He took one look at me trying to walk, and said she needs surgery immediately. There's no ligaments left in her ankle. No wonder she can't walk.
The surgery was still new and experimental back then, but he said my ankle was the worst he had ever seen in his career as a orthopedic surgeon. I had the surgery done on my 16th birthday. ( Happy Birthday to me lol) It took a year and a half to recover, but at least I can walk now. I still go see that surgeon periodically, and he shows everyone in his office the first person to have that type of surgery done in the US LOL.
The funniest part was the rehab. I apparently got to rehab with some guys from the Boston Bruins. I didn't know this because I wasn't a hockey fan, but my friends did. They would sit drooling in the window above the rehab room....

I bet your parents were mad! You poor thing, having to suffer for so long because of stupid people! Good thing they finally fixed it! Gosh!

Yeah, My step father was mad. That was only one surgery I had. I've had others LOL
My teen years were a lot of unexpected accidents. I had my appendix burst, then I had to have another surgery to remove lesions from that surgery. A severe case of chicken pox at 16/17 put me in the hospital also. I hate the hospitals now. I won't go near one unless I absolutely have to...

Can we all just pause a moment to pray for me to have some patience...I am about to toss our secretary (yet again) out the plate glass window up front. I think God just keeps throwing stupid people my way just to test me. I am failing.

hehehe I ain't scared of no bat

Ok, maybe just a little....

Ok, don't throw the secretary out the window. It will cause too much of a mess that someone will have to clean up later.

It is raining, it will wash the mess right on down the street. But instead I e-mailed the boss and I am now having a mountain dew and eating an ice cream sandwich. She knows I am mad, maybe she won't bother me for a while.
