Bring your "Howdy's" here!

I completely undertand. This mare was actually my DH's mare, and he sort of blamed me in a way for her passing (LONG story). So, I was doing all the feedings for the first 10 days or so and I was a zombie. I was literally seeing and hearing things...and practically lived in the barn in April (which is cold in Michigan!). DH finally came around, and when Annie got better about the feedings, that's when we called in the help. At first, I was worried SICK that folks wouldn't feed her enough or not do it right...but what a relief it was to find that they actually all felt so very responsible for their time slots! It was most definitely a group effort, and I couldn't have done it without the help. These little kittens need you now...get yourself some help, though, before you make yourself sick with worry and lack of rest!

Hello! Welcome, we all leave our snobbiness at the door of this thread! LOL! Many on here are "Thread Killers", it seems. So this thread was started and apparently can't be killed! We will even welcome those snobs if they wanted to lower their noses and join in!

Awww Rachel, Good Luck! I have such a soft spot for any tiny animal especially a kitty. I wish I was closer and I would help you out! I took in a preemie goat born Friday. She ate that day, but just took Saturday off or something. My daughter and I dropper fed her all day long and were exhausted all weekend keeping her going. She is now 4 days old, still really tiny, but eating like a trooper. Many have said they would have given up by now or are just flat out surprised she is doing so well, but we are determined that little Bailey is going to be just fine! I wish you the best of luck with your kitties!

Chickendamily, congratulations on the hens!!
PRC, I hope you get to feeling better!
