There aren't really any cliques on BYC, as far as I can tell. Cliques, in my experience, make an effort to be exclusive. I don't see that happening on BYC anywhere.

I feel like people do have their groups of friends here that they gravitate to based on location or mutual interests, but I've never felt (even when I was a brand-new member) that I couldn't talk to someone or reach out to someone else if I needed to.

People who are on BYC a lot (and post a lot) do generally get to know the other people who are here a lot as well, and may thus become more well-known throughout the forum faster than someone who generally does more reading and lurking. That isn't a bad thing either way.

I encourage everyone to reach out to everyone else, and spend time posting and posting and posting!

Before long, you won't remember when you weren't a "regular" here.

SAME HERE!!! I mean I don't have chickens YET, just started my coop and have a few prospects, though... But people are VERY judgemental about my tattoos and hair color. It doesn't change who I am on the inside, jeez! BTW, I LOVE your name and avatar and was so ecstatic to see another punk on here! Haha, I'm so cheesy

Also, I'm stoked to have found this thread. I'm new here also, so I haven't figured out who the cool kids are yet. However, on the pit bull rescue forum and rat forum that I USED TO frequent, I was definitely ignored way more than I was answered. Not a nice feeling

And so I don't post there any longer. I know I've already made some enemies on this forum, which was pretty much my fault. I was rude and it was uncalled for. To anybody that I offended or ticked off in that thread, I'm really sorry. That is NOT me. I don't know what got into me.

I haven't been on here as much as I used to, so I feel a bit out of the loop. Been mostly focusing on the turkey thread...
Plus my job's kept me really busy!
