One of the fencing poles is wood rotted and exploded all over so I will have to refix it with a new one.

Good morning all, looks like it is going to be a wonderful day here. I think I will rototill my garden and start planting everything. Maybe it's finally warm enough. I've got to spray my apple trees. A pain to do but well worth the effort. I often press over a 100 gallons of apple cider, put several dozen bags of sliced apples in the freezer and dehydrate a couple of bushel. Given the price of a bushel of apples I could do all of that were I not raising my own. I have 8 varieties and the first start ripening at the end of August and the last one in late October.

Morning all..

Justino - glad you caught your birds! WHEW!

Debiraymond - glad DH is okay, thats scary for sure!

Hypnofrog - have you tried spraying the carbuerator? (its an older car right? 1970's?) try putting carb cleaner into it, then put some gas into it - see if it'll fire up that way.

Patyr - how's DH doing? did he gargle with warm salt water? Did it help?

Everyone else - morning

I love that stuff! I wish we had some apple trees. My grandpa had pear trees and crabapple trees(yuck) in his yard. He also had mulberries, which I loved. I used to feed the pears to he horses, they loved them. My mom has pecan trees, and my husband gets tons of them every year around Thanksgiving and eats them all year long. Shells everywhere! Stupid hound dog likes them too!

Hennysmom, Yes he did the salt water, griping(sp) the WHOLE time (big baby) but he looks and feels alot better! Thanks. I had the antibiotics that I was giving him on the counter, and now I can't find them!! He said he left them where they were, but they have disappeared! So this morning he did not get any!UGH:th

Good Morning everyone! Looks like we are going to have another beautiful day! I brought my baby goat to work with me again today and she is doing great, she has really increased her feedings and much livelier every day!

They are buried in. I am cementing them in after I get a few bags of cement. Then I plan on making a cement floor in the coop. After that I have to get some chicken wire and put that around the existing fence. Then the fun part begins. I have to put a window on the coop. So I have to buy a tool to cut through the side and install a window. Yay!
