Yoder, steve said it all! The chick is not going to want to stand and move, so you are going to have to work with it to teach it how to walk without falling over! This can be dangerous if it falls in its water. Just keep setting it on its feet and it will learn. when you leave it in the brooder, watch him closely because he will be laying down all the time and get trampled.Until you teach him to get around. Thanks Guys!! That's all I need is to do therapy on a chick and take care of two toddlers!!! What a fun day this will be!!

What else be sides a pipe cleaner can I use.... Sorry for all the stupid question.

Its ok. Ask as many questions as you like. I have done the bandaid method where you take on sticky side and put it on one leg and the other sticky side on the other while the white part is in the middle. The chicks where teasing him and dragging him around so I took it off. I think the pipe cleaner is the easiest method.

LOL! Sorry! I know how ya feel! I raised my kids by myself for years.

They do all their own crap now!! Thank God! But they are teens, and sometimes drive me to drink!

Well my daughter anyways!! That is a crazy child. Gotta love her though!

Oh you can use a band aid, or there is a medical wrap type thing that sticks to its self that I use. I love that stuff. It shouldn't take long to teach it to move around. I usually sit mine right here with me and just keep putting it on it's feet. Have a bowl or bucket right there with you just in case you have to stick it in there to chase a kid!
