Hey everybody! I just thought I'd drop in and say hello. I've been busy with the coop and haven't been on much lately. It's supposed to rain from tonight until Saturday which SUCKS because my run still needs to be built and I'm picking up chicks on Friday! My brother is supposed to come over tomorrow, depending on how heavy the rain is and said he could have it framed out and possibly roofed in a couple hours. Then I'll just have to paint the coop, trim it out, put on all of the latches, paint the run, put up the hardware cloth and it'll be done!!! I painted the interior today...it looks like the Barbie dream home

It's ok about the rain...As long as it doesn't POUR the whole time the run will be done. Besides, it's doing wonders for my garden! Just trying to be optimistic here, haha.

A few different types of hosta, some ferns, a ton of ivy, pachysandra, bleeding hearts, iris, lillies, calladium, sedum, vinca vine, perriwinkle, elephant ears, heuchera, several ornamental grasses, dwarf juniper, a couple Rose of Sharon trees, lilacs and some other stuff. Mostly shade plants around my ponds. And I love things covered in ivy, looks so cool. Ooh I have raspberries and strawberries, too! And they will actually produce fruit this year for the first time!! I haven't even started my veggie garden yet! That's my next project after this coop is finished!!!
