Yes I did! It has already started. I first had only the 3. But now I have 8!! I am trading 2 Buff Cochins for a year old White Hen for Danzig Then I'm DONE!! I already have to upsize my new Silkie Love Shack!

You are so not done. Soon they will be guiding you by unknown forces to build a bigger love shack. Then before you know it, they will be sleeping in your house, your cabinets, your bathtub, and even your car. You might even start looking like a silky, and listening to James Brown.....

This is true. We often get together and compare stories about the stupid things she does/says. It does provide good entertainment. My daughter doesn't even say "are you kidding me??" anymore. She knows I can't make this stuff up. And yes, she makes me feel like I am Einstein. However, when it affects my job and I feel the need to apologize for her behavior, it isn't so cute anymore. That is when she crosses the line and that is when I blow. I am pretty well over it, for now. But stay tuned, it won't last long. The sad part is that she is nice as can be and will do anything for anyone. I pray about it. Alot.

I have a weeks worth of catching up to do which will probably take me all day! So before I venture into that I just wanted to say.....



MY CHICKS CAME THIS MORNING!!!!! I picked them up at 8:30 and brought them to their nice cozy brooder. They're all bright and alert, no pasty butt or anything. They caught on to the waterer pretty quickly, still trying to figure out the whole eating thing, though! I just had to leave them to come to work, unfortunately. I could watch them for HOURS! The Sultan and BL Polish follow each other everywhere, the little bantam Polish is a loud mouth and a total spazz, and the bantam Brahma is soooo pudgy and sweet and adorable! She seems to be the odd gal out. I love her. I love them all!!!

I'm assuming this is normal, especially after being shipped all over creation, but they keep slowly falling asleep standing up! They'll run around and peck at everything, take a drink, run around some more, and then stop for a second. The eyes slowly close, the head slowly tilts forward and next thing you know the chick is OUT! Until one of the other spazzes bumps into it or steps on it and then it's up and about all over again!

I can't wait to get out of work!!!!
