This isn't one of the chicks, it's a 7 week pullet I got from a BYC member. She's quarantined away from the Houdans and chicks.

Do I give her a certain kind of yogurt or will plain old store brand yogurt be fine? As for the oatmeal, just plain hot breakfast cereal oat meal? Where can I find probiotic powder?

Looks like I've got a bit of shopping to do!

The yogurt should say Lactose bacillus on it. ( my spelling may be off) That is the good bacteria you want. I make my own yogurt because it's much cheaper than store bought, but store bought will be just fine.

The powder I usually get at a health food store, or it can sometimes be found in a health food section at grocery store.

Plain cooked oatmeal is good.

Well, I got my paint for the hallway and trim, my bathroom wall paint and the ceiling paint for Destiny's bedroom, but we picked up more samples for her room, so I don't know if she will ever make a decision! She wants orange walls & purple trim, so it is hard to find the right combination.

My daughter wanted purple walls. The trim is white but we coated it with this iridesence coat, so it changes colors as light hits it. It looks pretty cool.
She wants to do a mural on her wall now. I have no problem with that since she is an art student, and musician. She just has to clear the mural by me first.

I like the combo of orange and purple. It should look nice!

That sounds really neat too. Unfortunately, we are not very artistic people! We pulled up the carpet in her room with concrete underneath. I think we are going to seal it and then splatter with the purple and orange. She is reading over my shoulder and wants to know more about this iridesence coat you are talking about. You put it over the white? And where can you find this? She has taken a pic of the colors she chose and wants you to see them. As soon as I get it in e-mail, I will post it.

You can get it at home depot. Ill take a pic of the bottle. It won't show up too well in a photo, but yeah you base coat the trim white, then add that over it. BRB Ill take a quick pic of the stuff

I would go a shade or two lighter on both colors. The paint will dry darker. You can see the color purple she used in the background of this pic also.

Ill get the paint chip of her purple...We use behr paint. It's the best.
