Bring your "Howdy's" here!

No relaxing for me

I have to somehow fix that door, and finish my daughters room before she gets here on Tuesday. I do need to take a ride later, and price shop for a dog crate for the puppy. I'm getting a metal one this time. The breeder says those work better. They like feeling like they are part of what's going on in the room.
After thinking about it, that explains why Sampson didn't use his crate long. He probably didn't like the plastic one. He was always good anyway, but I know he was a rare gem.

I have one you could borrow while you watch Craigslist for a deal. It's not large enough for a full grown shepard but would work fine for your pup.

She'll be larger than most shepherds even as a pup. I made that mistake with Sampson when we brought him home

I'll see what I find today, and if I need to borrow yours, I will be greatful

It is going to be another hot one today! Close to 100 they say. That with the humidity, it is going to be ugly in NC today! And it's only June! I do not like North Carolina Summers!!! When you walk outside it's like you hit a brick wall of air!!!

I went to my first swap today! I sold my BR roo, and gave my RIR to a good home! BUT... I came home with another roo,

, But really he is only HALF a roo. He is over a year old and is SOOO tiny! About the size of a pigeon. And has the squeekyest crow! LOL "EE! EEE! EEEE! EE!" I think he is called a Bantam Black-Breasted Red English Game Hen? The tamest thing! And TINY! Wife has made him a "House Chicken"!! He will be living in the house, so I have to either build a nice stand for his cage or build a nice inside cage. I will post pics in the morning... maybe you guys can help I.D. him for me. Did I mention how tiny he was?!

................I just looked at the bantams under the "Breeds" section and I think he is a Nanking! Looks exactly like the single comb one... Only he is a dark chestnut color. VERY beautiful bird! And if I am right... apparently the RAREST of all bantams, America and Europe! COOL! Not bad for $5!

Edited... Definately NOT a Nanking....
