Thanks for all of your lovely reponses. I couldn't be happier to have Brandie home and to be able to tell you all this story. I also couldn't be more grateful for the care she received where she was agisted. She certainly is in beautiful condition.

Dreams really do come true... sometimes you just have to be patient

I couldn't tell you how many times I wished to have Brandie in my own backyard as a child. It was never possible... but now it isn't just possible... it is reality! If it was day time I would be able to see her from where I am sitting in my home office.

Now I just need to find a second hand saddle from somewhere! I don't think we will be galloping up roads and jumping too many gates these days... but a nice ride together is many years over due.
