Brinsea 190, & other cabinet incubators, Positives & negatives please

Silly to put brahma eggs in a cheap bator. Though I have to say, now that I'm hatching my own eggs, the genesis hovabator is doing better.

Oh I dont intend to thats why I sold off all my other ones;-)

I got about half of the money for Christmas, but then my dear dog got hit by a car last night. He's FINE thank goodness, but the vet visit took all of my Christmas money. Maybe I can train him to sit on eggs for me... hmmmm....

Nat, the dog is great. You would have NO idea he was struck HARD at 55 mph. His ankles got a bit scraped, and the vet says he has some internal bruising. He doesn't seem to know that though. Begging, wagging, jumping and eating are back to normal. He had one slow day. We're up in NH in the country, and I think he was chasing a deer. We don't see any of those in the city. He got away from me, and heard a loud thump and found him legs up in a snow bank. We're both very lucky. Nat I hope your dog is recovering nicely!

So, the incubator... I didn't think of it as the coupon covering most of the shipping. When I look at it like that, it seems more doable. I think I'm just going to order it, and deal with the consequences later!

Im so glad your doggie is doing great-Mine is a pumpkin! He was touch and go the first few days after surgery but has made a full recovery-we also had an ugly cheek mole removed from him and had his teeth cleaned-why not if I already had him under right??? haha

Yah Im dealing with the incuabtor consequences now--hahaha I kept it from Dh for the first few days then I couldnt hold it in any longer-he was all good since I didnt touch out bill $ hehe and the girls didnt care because they know the $ I make from my chickens goes back to the chickens and to them when they need things its a win win!!!
