I am going to check how many are still fertile a few days before they are due. I'm hoping to get at least 10 valley quails and 60 button quails. I love seeing the quails move around in the shell. So cute!

Almost all game birds come in over 3 color varieties.

Coturnix quails have over 6 color varieties. They are very beautiful. I know of four color varieties in bob white quails. Button quails come in A LOT of color varieties with many mixes. So tiny.... Like little jewels!

They're adorable! I might get a little impatient waiting for spring... and I know all that Christmas money to come will burn a hole in my pocket.

Oh I know! I've already spent my money on a new incubator and pre-order eggs.

Do you have any pictures of your birds? I would love to see them!

Here are some pictures:

Blondie, the buff orpington

Gwen the jersey giant chick, and Joey the coop bunny.

My little man, The Colonel, when he was a baby

My first two hens, Blanche and Sophia

Helen, the blind mutt

Gregory Peck, the sizzle

Pip, a mix between Blondie and my marans rooster, is one of my new favorites. She was an only chick for a while, so she became rather spoiled and attached to people. She's a little brat, lol.
