Brinsea Improved and expanded Mini and Ovation incubators

OK thanks, she went to her 4H tonight and left me alone with the whole situation. Should I take them out of the incubator at this point? They're not really walking. I'm trying to read up on the toe/leg situation, but I'm a little overwhelmed
Thanks!!

I would leave them in the incubator until they are strong enough to move into the brooder with the others.

Can you post pictures of them?

Spradle leg needs to be fixed and it is easy at hatch. It cannot be fixed later and they die. They may not have that though. Curled toes are more cosmetic but are easy to fix too.

Did they drink some water? It looks like the yolk absorbed but they will need water and then food. They had a very hard time hatching and are very worn out.

The baby drop vitamins without iron usually perks them up too.

The toes may be fine and the leg is not stuck to far out or behind the chick.

Like:

If the chick can pull both legs together when on the belly, then the legs are ok.

The next day or so will tell if they are going to make it. There is a lot of hope though!

OK I will give them some electrolytes. I have some rooster booster- vitamins with electrolytes I will try. So are you saying I shouldn't deal with the feet/legs at this point?
Thank you!!!!

I would get them stronger and see if the legs and toes look better tomorrow. It is hard to tell now. I have had them look like that and then be fine the next day. Post an update later!
