I can fit 31 just fine without the rails and I do remove once they hatch as they dry up.

AVHalls & Ariel188, I assume these were regular sized eggs? Did you find it difficult to keep temp and humidity steady with that amount of eggs?

Yes, regular size eggs from Marans, EE, CL, OE and Brahmas. No problem keeping the temperature and humidity right.

Great to knowSo the incubator arrived today & it took me a couple hours to get it ready but was able to fit 42 bantam eggs in it. I'm thinking of getting another machine as a hatcher--any recommendations?
Yes they are regular sized eggs (SFH and Brahmas) however several of them are from pullets and were mailed as extras. My temp is holding fine between 99.4 to 99.6. My humidity is holding steady at 40% to 43%. These are good numbers right?
I like to keep temp at 99.5 & humidity between 40-50. My only worry is without the humidity pump, may not go up high enough the last 3 days..?
