I use an Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance and have always has 93% or better hatch rates. In my point of view spend money on good incubators like Brinsea

Styros are awful. I hatch more chicks in my 7 egg Brinsea (plastic) than one of my friend's does in her 30+ egg styrobator.

When will the Ovations be available in the US? I've seen it on the EU site, but don't see it listed on the US site.

They should be available in November. I am looking forward to their Ovation 56 EX fully automatic digital egg incubator model!

Yes, please. I would like to explore the contents of the Biomaster technology. I see it utilizes silver ion technology. Please explain. Is this like Microban or a different technology. Thank you for the explanation.
Ok so it says on the Biomaster website that once incorporated into the product it becomes an intregal part of the product. That means it never rubs off the product? Just trying to understand here.

Two of them (Minis) I got from Amazon.com. The third, an old Octagon DX, I picked up in great condition from a thrift store, of all places.

It's spendy yes, but depending on how many chicks you hatch you could easily have it paid off in a year. Definitely worth the money. No hassle. I basically turn mine on 3 hours before I put the eggs in and never have problems. One time I had a duck die on a clutch of eggs and I didn't have ant broody hens so I put them in the incubator, it was up to correct temp and humidity in about 6 minutes
