Oh wow! So glad she lived a long, loving, life! Any other rabbits or more in the future at all??
Yes, she lived a very good life. We took her everywhere with us. She probably saw more of the world than most people do. She traveled the whole country, and even lived in Europe for a couple years. She was a really special rabbit for sure.
We weren't planning on getting a new rabbit. But last year, a friend told us about a local rabbit rescue that desperately needed people to foster. So, we signed up. But we pretty quickly learned that fostering is incredibly hard, because we ended up adopting two rabbits. 😂
The first one we adopted is Chili, a Polish Dwarf. He was about 9 months old when we got him, so he's a little over 1 1/2 years old now. He's super energetic and very feisty. But he can be really sweet when he wants to be. The second rabbit is a Lionhead/Dutch mix. We were told he was about 4 when we got him, but I think he's probably closer to 6 or 7. He's blind, but an absolute sweetheart. He just wants to be cuddled all day.
