Broken Beak, Splitting Down The Middle

So at some point my hen cracked her beak on something causing it to split in the middle. Her beak was really long (which is weird because she's really active and scratches a lot which should grind it down to a normal length) so I trimmed it slightly and filed a little on the rough edges so it wouldn't catch on stuff as easily. A pullet also cracked her beak down the middle around the same time but her beak ended up repairing at some point.

Fast foward about two weeks this girl's beak is still cracking and she's somehow managed break off the end of it and tear half of it to the side as seen in the photos. There's some dried blood near the top of the crack from it cracking higher up. I don't have much experience with broken beaks because my chickens have hardly ever damaged their beaks.

Should I keep trimming/filing it after it grows past the bottom of the beak some more? Or is there something else I should do to help her out?

Also sorry if I don't immediately reply shortly after posting this. I'm heading to bed right after this so I'll check for messages in the morning.

I would trim it back, I would suggest one of those grunding style dog nail trimmers as you won't want to flex the beak with the scissor style and maybe craxk it further.

Feed her moistened feed for awhile so she's not tapping her beak on anything hard trying to eat.

Thank you, I'll get her started on wet food. I should have a pair of those clippers somewhere.
